try looking at the sun
through a pair of
home-made binoculars
i bet you’ll get circles
on the outside
and deep deep holes
on your insides
the core you are wrapped around
will deteriorate
and you’ll begin to feel
that all you have left
are your bones and the stem
don’t stay after
to watch it turn black
it’ll suck you in
and you’ll never see
that it was suposed to just be
a color;
a shade made by you
like your own royal blue
